Hit-and-Run Accidents in Las Vegas: Your Legal Rights

Hit-and-run accidents are a growing concern in Las Vegas, particularly in high-traffic corridors like Paradise Road and Warm Springs Road. Victims often face challenges in identifying the at-fault driver while also dealing with medical expenses, vehicle damage, and emotional distress.

Under Nevada law, hit-and-run victims may still pursue compensation through their own uninsured motorist coverage or a personal injury claim, depending on the circumstances. The statute of limitations allows two years from the date of the crash to file a claim. Acting quickly helps preserve police reports, traffic camera footage, and witness statements, which are crucial for establishing liability.
