Multi-Vehicle Crash in Las Vegas
Nevada recorded 261 traffic deaths in 244 crashes from January through September 2026, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety’s Office of Traffic Safety. Clark County accounted for 149 of those deaths, down from 186 during the same period in 2025. The same office counted 9,665 serious injuries on Nevada roads from 2016 through 2025.
Insurers review the first days of records closely, and a gap in medical treatment is a common reason an offer comes in low. Six steps protect your health and your claim after a crash involving several vehicles:
- Get a medical evaluation the same day, even without pain. Whiplash, concussion, and internal bleeding often surface hours or days later.
- Request the police report number before you leave the scene. Every insurer involved will ask for it.
- Photograph all four vehicles, their final positions, the traffic signals, and any debris. The order of impacts is hard to rebuild once the scene clears.
- Collect names, phone numbers, and insurance details from every driver and witness, not only the driver who struck you.
- Notify your own insurer promptly, and decline recorded statements to the other drivers’ insurers until you get advice.
- Save medical bills, prescriptions, mileage to appointments, and missed-work records from day one.
