Mesquite, NV (July 6, 2026) – One person is dead and three others were transported to area hospitals after a four-vehicle crash and fire closed all northbound lanes on Interstate 15 near Mesquite, Nevada, Sunday afternoon, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 1:50 p.m. near mile marker 122. All northbound I-15 lanes were blocked and remained closed for several hours before reopening. Life Flight responded to the scene. It was not disclosed whether the confirmed fatality occurred on-scene or thereafter.
