Las Vegas, NV (Jan 25, 2026) – A pedestrian was tragically killed late Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle in the southwest valley.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the collision occurred just before midnight near the intersection of East Sahara Avenue and Santa Clara Drive.
Preliminary reports indicate that the pedestrian was walking outside of a marked crosswalk when they were struck by a KIA Sportage.
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities noted that the driver of the vehicle showed no signs of impairment following the crash.
