Sun Valley, NV (Nov 21, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident claimed the life of a woman on Friday afternoon in Sun Valley, according to the Nevada State Police.

The collision occurred at approximately 2:23 p.m. at the intersection of Sun Valley Boulevard and 5th Avenue. Investigators said a vehicle was making a left turn onto Sun Valley Boulevard from 5th Avenue when it struck a woman crossing the street.

Emergency responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, and the Nevada Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
