Las Vegas, NV (Dec 15, 2025) – Two people were injured, and a popular downtown taco stand sustained damage after a passenger vehicle crashed directly into the Casa del Sabor taco truck near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonanza Road Monday night.
Officers responded to the scene just before 8 p.m. Authorities confirmed that two adults were injured in the incident and were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. While the driver remained on the scene and impairment is not suspected, the vehicle drove completely off the roadway and into the food stand, damaging the business and injuring patrons or employees.
The cause of the crash remains under active investigation by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officials.
When a driver fails to maintain control of their vehicle and crashes into a public area, the law presumes high negligence. The two injured adults have the immediate right to seek financial compensation for their injuries. Even though police described the injuries as “non-life-threatening,” this is a police term, not a medical one.
Victims need to understand that the initial shock of the crash can mask serious or delayed injuries, such as whiplash, concussions, or soft-tissue damage, which require extensive future medical treatment and physical therapy. To ensure compensation covers all costs, including medical bills, lost wages from missed work, and pain and suffering, injured victims must file a personal injury claim against the at-fault driver’s insurance.
Nevada has a two-year statute of limitations on these claims, making prompt legal action necessary to protect your full financial recovery.
If you were one of the two people injured in this crash, you need an experienced Las Vegas personal injury lawyer to ensure the driver’s insurance company covers the full extent of your injuries and losses.
We offer a 100% Free, Confidential Consultation to assess your personal injury claim and fight for the maximum compensation you deserve.
