Car Accidents in Las Vegas, Nevada

Car accidents remain one of the leading causes of serious injuries in Las Vegas, particularly in busy areas near the Strip such as Paradise Road and Karen Avenue. These collisions, often involving multiple vehicles or pedestrians, can result in significant medical costs, rehabilitation needs, and lost income for those impacted. In 2025, Las Vegas saw an alarming rise in traffic-related deaths, with over 127 fatalities reported by October, surpassing the previous year’s numbers. Common causes include failure to yield, speeding, and distracted driving, which together account for the majority of traffic crashes.

Under Nevada law, injury victims have the right to seek compensation for medical bills, property damage, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Victims must act quickly as Nevada provides a two-year statute of limitations to file a personal injury claim. Preserving evidence such as police reports, witness statements, and surveillance footage is crucial in establishing fault and maximizing compensation.
