Las Vegas, NV (Nov 18, 2025) – Two people were killed and four others were hospitalized following a violent multi-car crash in the northwest Las Vegas valley on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The collision occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard. Police say one vehicle was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed on Cheyenne Avenue when it struck several cars stopped at a red light.
Emergency crews pronounced two victims dead at the scene. Four additional individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions have not yet been released.
Deputy Chief Jose Hernandez with LVMPD described the crash as “a devastating reminder of how dangerous reckless driving can be,” emphasizing that high speeds continue to cause preventable tragedies across the Las Vegas valley.
Authorities confirmed that speed was the primary contributing factor, and the investigation remains ongoing.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wish a full recovery to the injured.
