Las Vegas, NV – Moped Rider Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Near Buffalo and Desert Inn

Las Vegas, NV (Mar 17, 2026) – A sedan struck a moped rider near the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Desert Inn Road in the southwest valley at approximately 4:28 a.m. Tuesday.

The rider sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment; however, the exact severity of those injuries has not been disclosed.

Immediately following the impact, the driver of the sedan fled the scene and has not yet been located by authorities.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently leading the search for the suspect vehicle and investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
