Las Vegas, NV (Nov 15, 2025) – A driver was critically injured Saturday evening after crashing into a light pole at the intersection of East Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Police were called to the scene around 5:20 p.m., where they found a severely damaged sedan that had collided with a pole. Investigators later learned the same vehicle had been involved in an earlier minor hit-and-run crash near Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road before continuing southbound.
Emergency responders transported the driver to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition. No additional injuries were reported at the scene.
We extend our thoughts and support to the injured driver and their loved ones.
Hit-and-run crashes often lead to severe injuries, especially when a fleeing driver continues operating a damaged vehicle or is already involved in reckless behavior. Busy corridors like Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road, which serve airport traffic and high-volume commuter routes, routinely experience high-impact collisions due to congestion and sudden lane changes.
In Nevada, victims of hit-and-run accidents may pursue compensation for medical bills, lost wages, long-term treatment needs, and pain and suffering. Establishing liability typically relies on critical evidence such as police reports, crash-scene damage, witness statements, surveillance footage, and vehicle-impact analysis.
Nevada law provides a two-year statute of limitations for personal injury claims, making early legal action crucial to preserving evidence and protecting the victim’s rights.
