Laughlin, NV (Dec 24, 2025) – A single-vehicle rollover crash sent four people, including two children, to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Nevada State Police, the accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the interchange of US 95 and State Route 163 (Laughlin Highway). A red Ford Explorer was traveling northbound when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Emergency responders performed an aerial evacuation for one female passenger, who was airlifted from the scene for urgent medical care. A man and two children were transported by ground ambulance to a hospital in neighboring Arizona.
Investigators determined the driver was traveling at speeds too fast for the current road conditions.
Our thoughts are with the injured and their families as they recover.
Rollover accidents are among the most dangerous types of traffic incidents, often resulting in catastrophic or life-altering injuries. While these crashes frequently involve a single vehicle, legal liability is not always limited to the driver. Factors such as roadway maintenance, improper signage, or mechanical defects, including tire blowouts or roof crush failures, can play a significant role in the severity of the outcome.
In Nevada, victims of rollover crashes may be entitled to compensation for medical expenses, emergency transport costs, and long-term rehabilitation. When children are involved, the legal complexities increase, as settlements must often be structured to account for future medical needs. Because law enforcement cited “speed too fast for conditions” in this incident, establishing the specific contributing factors through a professional investigation is essential for any subsequent legal claims.
