Las Vegas, NV (December 13, 2025) – A fatal motorcycle collision occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of West Oakey Boulevard and Western Avenue, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).

The crash took place just before 12:30 a.m. According to preliminary investigation reports, a 2023 Nissan Ariya was traveling westbound on West Wyoming Avenue (which becomes Oakey Boulevard at this intersection). Simultaneously, a 2004 Yamaha 1100 motorcycle was traveling eastbound through the intersection.

Investigators state that the Nissan attempted to make a left turn onto Western Avenue, crossing directly into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. The collision proved fatal, and the rider – identified as a 24-year-old man from Thousand Oaks, California. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. Police reported no initial signs of impairment. This incident marks the third fatal motorcycle crash in the Las Vegas Valley within a single 10-hour span.
