Las Vegas, NV (October 11, 2025) – A 47-year-old woman tragically lost her life after being struck by a vehicle while crossing in a marked crosswalk on Boulder Highway on Friday morning.
The incident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Whitney Avenue. Investigators report that a 47-year-old woman, whose identity has not been released, was crossing the highway when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but sadly, she later succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities stated that the driver failed to notice the flashing pedestrian crossing lights, which may have contributed to the crash. The LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
