Las Vegas, NV (August 16, 2026) – Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to a fatal crash on northbound Interstate 15, just south of Flamingo Road, shortly before 1:30 a.m. on August 16, after a pickup truck struck a pedestrian, according to the agency.
The pedestrian, an adult man, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Nevada Highway Patrol says he later died from his injuries.
Troopers arrested the driver of the pickup, identified by the agency as Jose Manuel Trevizo III, 29, on suspicion of impairment. No further details on potential charges have been released.
