Las Vegas sees a rising number of pedestrian fatalities each year, often occurring at busy intersections like Nellis Boulevard and Sahara Avenue where traffic congestion, reduced visibility, and driver inattention heighten risk. Many fatal pedestrian accidents result from failure to yield, speeding, or distracted driving.
Under Nevada law, families of victims may pursue wrongful death claims to recover compensation for medical expenses, funeral costs, emotional suffering, and loss of financial support. The state enforces a two-year statute of limitations, making timely legal action critical. Preserving evidence such as traffic footage, crash reports, and witness statements can greatly strengthen a case.
