Pedestrian Accidents in Nevada
Pedestrian fatalities in Nevada are on the rise, especially on busy routes like State Route 28, where factors such as poor visibility, high traffic speeds, and a lack of pedestrian-friendly infrastructure increase risks.
Many crashes occur during low-light conditions or early morning hours, making it difficult for drivers to spot pedestrians in time. Victims or their families may pursue compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and funeral costs through personal injury or wrongful death claims.
Nevada law typically requires these claims to be filed within two years of the accident. Acting quickly is essential so that attorneys can collect critical evidence like witness statements, surveillance footage, toxicology reports, and crash reconstruction details that are vital in establishing negligence.
