Las Vegas, NV - One Hospitalized After Three-Vehicle Crash on Sunset Road

Las Vegas, NV (Sept 12, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash on Sunset Road sent one person to the hospital in non-critical condition on Saturday.

Officers responded to reports of the crash and closed all eastbound lanes on Sunset Road west of Durango Drive.

We hope the person hospitalized has a full and fast recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Accidents in Las Vegas, NV

Nevada law under NRS 41.141 divides fault in a three-vehicle crash among however many drivers actually contributed to it, and each driver’s insurer typically pays only that driver’s own percentage share under several liability, not the full amount of the damages. An injured person may need to pursue more than one driver’s insurance company to recover the full amount of their damages, especially when it is not yet clear which vehicle caused the initial impact.

This report does not identify which driver caused the crash or whether the other two vehicles’ occupants sustained any injuries. A three-vehicle case often takes longer to investigate for exactly that reason: more parties means more insurance companies, more accounts of what happened, and more room for each driver to blame another.
