Las Vegas, NV (October 24, 2025) – A hit-and-run crash occurred early Friday morning, around 5 a.m., at the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Charleston Boulevard in east Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) reported that a driver lost control of their vehicle while traveling southbound on Nellis Boulevard, crossing into all lanes of traffic and crashing into a fence and pavement wall. Following the crash, the driver fled the scene, and authorities suspect impairment may have been a factor.
A passenger in the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene. Police have not identified the driver, and the LVMPD is seeking information from the public to locate the individual involved.
Our thoughts are with the injured passenger, and we hope for a swift recovery.
Hit-and-Run Accidents in Las Vegas: Legal Rights for Victims
Hit-and-run accidents, like the one at Nellis and Charleston Boulevards, are unfortunately common in Las Vegas. When drivers flee the scene, it can complicate the process of seeking justice. However, victims may still be entitled to compensation for medical bills, property damage, and emotional distress through uninsured motorist coverage or a personal injury claim.
Under Nevada law, the statute of limitations for personal injury claims is two years from the date of the accident. Taking swift action allows your Las Vegas personal injury lawyer to secure key evidence, such as traffic footage, witness statements, and police reports, to help build a strong case.
