Las Vegas, NV – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Pickup Truck on Boulder Highway

Las Vegas, NV (December 12, 2025) – A fatal collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle occurred yesterday afternoon on Boulder Highway, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).

The incident took place around 2:21 p.m. at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Whitney Avenue.

According to evidence and surveillance footage reviewed by investigators, a 47-year-old man was operating a 1997 Suzuki TL 1000S northbound on Boulder Highway. Simultaneously, a 79-year-old man driving a 2003 Ford F-150 attempted to make a turn from the storage lane, crossing directly into the motorcyclist’s path.

Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Sunrise Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

This tragedy marks the 155th traffic-related fatality in the LVMPD jurisdiction for 2025.
