Las Vegas, NV (Dec 12, 2025) – A chaotic, six-vehicle, wrong-way crash on Northbound I-15 at Charleston Boulevard has resulted in one fatality and left three other individuals hospitalized, according to Nevada State Police (NSP).
The collision occurred just before 7 p.m. and involved a driver traveling the wrong direction on the interstate. Police confirmed the wrong-way driver has died. Of the three victims transported to the hospital, two are listed in serious condition, and one sustained minor injuries.
The multi-car pileup resulted in heavy damage to half the vehicles involved. Police closed the northbound lanes and surrounding ramps, advising road closures could last until 1 a.m.
Traffic detectives are investigating the full details of this catastrophic crash.
Our thoughts are with the victims and families affected by this tragic crash.
Wrong-way driving represents an extreme form of negligence, automatically creating a high-stakes legal situation for the surviving victims and their families. While the at-fault driver died, this does not end the claim; victims can file a personal injury or Wrongful Death claim against the driver’s estate and insurance policies.
The two victims currently in serious condition must act immediately. Severe injuries sustained in high-impact collisions, especially head trauma or spinal damage, may not be fully recognized until weeks after the crash, even if initial reports mention “minor” injuries for others.
Furthermore, Nevada has a strict two-year statute of limitations for filing personal injury lawsuits. Consulting an attorney immediately ensures critical evidence from the six-vehicle scene is secured before it is lost and that victims’ rights are fully protected against aggressive insurance adjusters.
