Las Vegas, NV (October 16, 2025) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is investigating a crash involving an e-scooter and a vehicle that occurred around 9:30 a.m. Thursday near Flamingo Road and Burnham Avenue, just west of Eastern Avenue, in the southeast valley.
According to police, the e-scooter rider was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. Investigators said impairment is not suspected at this time.
The crash led to temporary lane closures in both directions along Flamingo Road, causing traffic disruptions for several hours. All lanes have since reopened. The LVMPD Traffic Bureau continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
We wish the injured rider a swift and full recovery.
E-scooter and pedestrian accidents are rising across Las Vegas, particularly in high-traffic areas like Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue. According to LVMPD reports, hundreds of crashes involving vulnerable road users occur annually, many resulting in serious but preventable injuries.
In Nevada, victims of traffic accidents may seek compensation for medical bills, lost income, and pain and suffering. The statute of limitations for filing a personal injury claim is two years from the date of the accident – missing this deadline can forfeit your right to recover damages.
