What is Sexual Coercion in the Workplace?

by | Jul 21, 2021 | Sexual Harassment |

Workplace Sexual Coercion is unwanted sexual attention combined with job-related pressures to force compliance. These pressures may include:

  • Negative performance evaluations;
  • Withholding of promotion; or
  • Threat of termination.

Victims of this can feel trapped in a situation they cannot escape. It might be a feeling that remains with them even outside of work.

Sexual coercion is not your fault. If you are feeling pressured to do something you do not want to do, speak up!

Nevada laws limit the time period allowed for filing a harassment suit. Take the first step to a fair resolution by reaching our firm for a free, initial consultation.
